DO I NEED TO LEAVE A DEPOSIT, AND ARE THEY REFUNDABLE? WHAT IF I NEED TO RESCHEDULE?

Deposits are mandatory to make an appointment and are non refundable. Deposits range in price depending on the size of the tattoo you are getting with the minimum starting at $80, max being $250. Your deposit is good for one reschedule as long as you give at least 48hrs notice ahead of time. If you show up more than 20min late to your appointment you lose your deposit and have to go through the booking process again to reschedule. No call no shows automatically lose their deposit and will be refused future services.

WILL I GET TO SEE MY DRAWING BEFORE MY APPOINTMENT?

I draw my clients' tattoos the night before their appointment, so I don't usually have time to draw them up days in advance. However, I always make sure to save enough time during your appointment to make any changes. So we can tweak the design as many times as you want until you are 100% satisfied.

WHAT DO I NEED TO DO TO PREPARE FOR MY APPOINTMENT?

1. Be hydrated. Drink plenty of water beforehand and make sure to bring water or a beverage with you to your appointment.

2. Prepare your skin. Make sure to shower, exfoliate, and lotion the area getting tattooed prior to your appointment. You may shave beforehand if you'd like, but I am more than willing to shave the area for you.

3. Get a good night's sleep. Arriving fully rested and free from any drug or alcoholic substance is essential before getting tattooed. Do not consume any alcohol, painkillers, or blood thinning medications at least 48hrs prior to your tattoo appointment.

4. Eat a balanced meal beforehand. Making sure to eat a healthy meal at least an hour prior to the appointment ensures your body can handle the process of getting a tattoo. You may also bring snacks and/or a beverage to your appointment. I usually have snacks and drinks on hand, but its not guaranteed.

5. Make sure you are comfortable. Some tattoo appointments take a decent amount of time, so making sure to wear comfortable clothing to your appointment makes all the difference. You are also allowed to bring up to two people with you for support.

HOW DO I CARE FOR MY NEW TATTOO AND HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO HEAL?

1. Keep your bandage on for the specified amount of time we discussed after your appointment.

2. Remove bandage with clean hands and clean the tattoo with unscented soap and warm water. There should be no "slimey" residue when you're done. Blot dry with a paper towel. Make sure you are washing your tattoo at least once a day for the next 3 - 4 days.

4. If you are using Aphaphor make sure to only apply a thin layer for the first 3 days, 2 - 3 times a day. Then switch to any brand of unscented lotion for the remainder of the healing process. If you don't want to use Aquaphor a thin layer of unscented lotion 2 - 3 times a day is more than enough for the entire healing process of your tattoo. Do NOT use A+D, Neosporin, rubbing alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, or any petroleum based products.

5. Keep your tattoo clean, out of the sun/water, and avoid wearing tight/restricting clothing on the area. Absolutely no swimming, hot tubs, suntanning, or excessive working out during healing!

6. Flaking/scabbing and itchiness are normal during healing. Healing time is 2 - 4 weeks depending on tattoo placement/person. Everyone is different!
